BIKE-A-THON

Fundraiser event

"She's already going places.

With a bike, you're helping her go further."

Shift is supporting the young women of Girl Up Lower Hutt in this event.

The Bike-a-thon is a charity event where you get to ride for a good cause!

Together, we can help empower girls around the world, by providing bicycles to help them access education and stay in school, through Girl Up's School Cycle Initiative.

REGISTRATION

Anyone can participate!

This event is open to everyone, not just young women, so help us spread the word!

Once you register, you will be sent a more detailed information form. This will have a link to schedule your preferred time shift to ride. You can select multiple shifts.

If you are under 16 years old, and want to participate in any biking shifts, sign up as normal and then we will contact you with a parental permission form – which you will need to get filled out and return.

Bikes are provided. If you want to ride for an extended period of time, you can bring your own bike and wind trainer.

Contact Allie, our Lower Hutt Shift Coordinator, if you have any questions.

Bike-a-thon

Girl Up Lower Hutt are hosting a 12 hour bike-a-thon FUNdraiser event!

The aim is to get people signed up for an allocated time shift and ride collectively for 12 hours. Participants will also fundraise with support from their family and friends and all the money raised will go to Girl Up's School Cycle initiative to provide bikes to girls in the greatest need.

This event is fundraising for the SchoolCycle initiative. All donations to Girl Up SchoolCycle are tax deductible.
