Shift has partnered with Outward Bound, who have generously provided 8 scholarships to give young women aged 16 - 18 years!

 

Outward Bound’s 'Mind, Body, Soul' course takes place in Anakiwa, Marlborough Sounds on 23 September – 13 October 2018 (3 weeks: last week of Term 3 and the school holidays).

This is an unreal opportunity to take on the experience of a lifetime! You’ll make new friends, try different things, experience New Zealand’s beautiful natural environment, learn, grow and be inspired.

 

Some of the activities include kayaking, tramping, high ropes, rock climbing, sailing, service, camping, running and swimming. Every morning will start with a 3km run and dip in the water before the day of activities ahead!

Scholarships are worth $3,600. You will need to cover the remaining $749 + travel to and from Picton on the ferry ($50 -100). Shift can assist with fundraising if needed.

​

If selected, you will be part of a mixed group of males and females. 14 members per group, 2 Outward Bound instructors.
