Puāwai connects with kōhine māori to improve their wellbeing, cultural awareness and confidence using Māori health models such as Te Whare Tapa Whā and Māori traditional games. This kaupapa explores and develops an understanding of how kōhine feel a sense of connection to Te Ao Māori. Puāwai is currently being run in Puawānanga, Wairarapa's young parent unit.
